Exercise & P90X

P90X workout
It has been almost 3 months since my operation so I have been physically lazy for much longer than that. I am doing physical therapy twice a week and doing the light upper body exercises that they allow me in between therapy. I have been taking long walks for a month or so and started light jogging a couple weeks ago. I went out this morning thinking I could take it more seriously. I ran the better part of a mile with a walking break about half way. I tell you, it sucks trying to get back in shape. Not only did my legs feel like they were going to fall of, but my lungs burned from what I think they call lactic acid. Despite the headache, pain, and wanting to vomit, it was a good step in the right direction. I know I will have to push through the pain quite a bit more before it becomes comfortable.
I am looking forward to starting up the P90X workout, but I know it will be the distant future before I am capable of any of P90X. If anyone has any suggestions to help getting back into shape please don’t hesitate to share them with me.
